This site is about helping people understand Pancreatic Cancer better. Unfortunately cancer of the pancreas is the deadliest of all of the known cancers that afflict the human body. Knowledge of how to treat this disease are growing, and research does show promise that pancreatic cancer can be treate with success, and patients who are diagnosed with it, can continue to live on a normal life.
I had a friend who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer . His name is Donald “Landshark” Richardson. He was a legend among the Newport, R.I. surfing community as a fun loving, kind of a nut crazy man who helped me when I was a teenager learn of all the secret surfing spots from Little Compton to Newport to Matunuck and let me stay at his apartment and gave me work when I needed it to stay out of trouble.
So I dedicate this site to Don – and to all of the people who need more information about this quick killer.
